New Englander here, first year into fat biking and picked up a 2016 trek Farley 9. Some friends got me into it and I’ve got the bug now. But genuinely curious how many of you ride fat bikes year round. Around here we have our fair share of rocky trails and the fat tires just roll so easy over the tech stuff I don’t know if I’ll ever want to go back to a regular sized tire.

I ride year round in the mountains of NM. I don’t even have another mtb anymore—just a gravel bike. Fully rigid hasn’t held me back yet.
🙋♂️tho not nearly as much in the winter as I’d like
I ride my 29er most of the time in the non-snowy months, but I definitely get out on the fatbike on occasion. Sometimes is as a backup bike while my FS is in the shop. But often just because I feel like riding the fatty.
I also ride gravel bikes and occasionally a road bike in the summer too.
But fatty (non-exclusive) all year long for sure.
