My partner and I both commute on ebikes year round in a place where it really snows. She insists she feels safer cycling through snow than driving. Though, part of that is probably because her commute is almost entirely trail- separate from cars. I ride with traffic, and I know it sounds crazy… But I feel more safe, too. I’m going like 10mph at best, and fewer cars are on the road (I at least have a bike lane).

And when I slip up, it’s a fall from about 4 feet, in 6 layers of clothes. I get back up, hop back on, and keep rolling. Back when I drove It felt like risking my life, thousands of dollars, and more concerningly the lives of drivers and pedestrians nearby. Bicycles are completely overpowered because they can be ridden in a crazy number of conditions.

    2. The funniest thing in this video is the amount of big, massive SUV’s, which are usually advertised in commercials driving uphill on dirt or sand, completely incapable of negotiating even what appears to be a what, 3% grade?

      Absolutely hilarious.
