Riding up Mount Ventoux from Bédoin France. Mount Ventoux is 6,263’ / 1,909m tall and called the Giant of Provence. Considered one of the great climbs in cycling it’s been featured in The Tour de France many times and has been on my list for a while now!

The Wind Giant lived up to its name while I was there with ~80+ mph winds at the summit. From Bédoin the climb is 13 miles / 20.8km long and climbs 5,229’ with an average grade of 8.5%, maxing out at 13.3%. It’s a big challenge and considered one of the hardest climbs in the French Alps.
