Build update for those who care and those who don’t. Finally got my wheels rebuilt and any damage to other components replaced or repaired. Also got all the dents and dings bondo’d up. Frame is off for powder coating in the next week or two, but couldn’t resist throwing the wheels on to ride around first. Build is coming back together after the recent accident! Looking to swap drivetrain to a 17/49 and switch to double strap toe clips as the last changes.

Also I finally understand what people mean when they talk about how important wheels and tires are on a bike, especially a fixed gear. The ride feels so smooth and comfortable and speedy on the new wheels. Hard to describe, but a great feeling especially after having the bike out of commission for a couple weeks
