Ok, so I want to go in more detail because I'm proud of the close to end result, it's a front drive 1000 watt 48 v front hub motor on a circa 1950 Italian import Amica. Virtually everything that is some bright color is what I added.

The kit, got it for $50 bucks, came with a 26 inch rim, had to relace it, I used a spare 20 inch rim I had lying around. This is the second time I've done this both hubs used 83 / 84 mm spokes.

It is thumb throttle only, no pedal assist, and no brake wires for cutting the power, if I need to stop I trust I'll be able to take my thumb off the throttle, and I painted it salmon because it's a pretty color.

I ran all the wires through the frame to the rear rack where I keep the battery, it's a steel frame and there were already holes there that I used I just needed to make them slightly bigger.

It is honestly one of the nicest riding bikes I've had recently. It is effortless to no hands this thing and I'm thinking of putting in the pedal assist just so I can no hands my way up hills. The seating posture I'm in is sitting straight upright and it is so comfortable! The wheels make it pretty cushy and the large chainring (rattle canned a pretty color) helps with topping out at higher speeds.

It's got coaster braking which is also dope for no handsing it down hill.

The headlamp came with the kit and I rattled it green before using a spot on the front fork that came with the bike!

I want to get a front basket to make grocery shopping more doable (right now I just shove everything in my backpack)

Oh! The pedals are quick release so I take the pedals off and the key out so no one can ride it away even if they cut the lock, I'm in a small town so the lock is alright, when I go to a city I bring 3 locks with me.

I think this is my new main, until I get a cargo bike, I'm thinking of learning to weld just for it

    1. Love the vibe but are you gonna add a rear brake??

Edit: nevermind I see you have a coaster brake. Cool build!

Loving the front wheel build 😂 with spokes that short I guess skipping out on some in the rim won’t hurt.

Just need a boombox playing the Sanford & Son theme song. I kid, it looks awesome. I have one of those boing boing seat suspension deals and found it too springy for my liking.
