What do you guys think about this bike? I paid approximately $650 for this. It's a 2012 bianchi Sempre Veloce with a Campangolo Veloce groupset, carbon frame.. The lady who sold it to me only rode it for one season and sadly had surgery on her ankle so she couldn't ride it after like a year. She really never rode it, It was sitting for a while, and looked practically new, also shifted perfectly.

I got new tires tubes, cleaned it up (frame and groupset), oiled the chain and bought myself some cycling shoes. (Total about $150)

Im new to road biking, but have been riding mountain bikes since I was a kid. I feel like it was a great deal and I'm having a hell of a time on it. Averaging 15mph on rides, without even going hard. I've maxed out at about 24mph on some fast sprints (gets kinda scary though). Done about 5, 10 mile-15 mile rides on it. Can't complain about anything really.

I've had a problem for a while though with going slightly numb in my hands after a mile or so (even on mountain bikes) I can shake it off but it happens again, after about another mile. Will gloves kinda help me with this? Any suggestions would help.

I try to keep pressure off my hands, maybe I just needa drop some weight.
My upper body weight might be pushing more on my hands and wrists? I weigh about 250, about 28% bodyfat, 5'9" with 54cm bike. Which i think is the perfect size.

Taking your weight down will be overall better all your joints. Pro riders your height are 100 pounds less. I’m not saying you need to be that, but being lighter makes going uphill fun. Cool bike. Saddle might be a little low.
