Tadej Pogacar will win Il Lombardia 2024 with complete certainty being the first cyclist in history to win it 4 times in a row, but that doesn’t sit well with certain people. One of them is Christian Prudhomme, the director of the Tour de France, who literally did not want to deny that the Slovenian is doping in a recent interview. The reasons, in this video.

    1. The problem is that Gianetti is making the other teams look unprofessional, especially the French. Why would anyone sponsor a team that is destined to look like the Washington Generals (Harlem Globetrotters opponent)? I think major sponsors are going to start pulling out in the next 10 years.

    2. Why is Marco Pantani always unfairly lumped in with perennial and sociopathic doper Lance Armstrong? FYI 'Uncle Cyclist' – Pantani NEVER ever tested positive for PED's. He was eventually 'suspended' [as is normal practice] for his high level of haematocrit on the penultimate stage of the 1999 Giro D'Italia – which he was winning by a country mile!
Now I am not going to condone 'Il Pirata' – he was clearly on the juice. But he was nowhere near the levels of drug usage of 'Big Lance' or other riders at the time such as Bjarne Riis, Jan Ulrich etc etc. Pantani's ability as a climber [he still holds the record for the THREE fastest ever ascents of the infamous Alpe D'Huez] was as much down to his natural talent and cavalier style as the use of drugs.
Pantani was in all probability 'cheating' – but let's keep some perspective here. His use of PEDs was nowhere near as bad as the bullying and evil Armstrong. I was fortunate to see Pantani 'in the flesh' a number of times and despite his dubious past – he is still best 'pure' climber I have ever seen.

    3. I don’t know why they don’t just use statistics to better target testing. We should have the data to make reasonable predictions of the odds against chance of doping or not.

    4. Keep going lads — I doubt you’ll ever achieve a complete cleansing of the pro peleton, but if you can cast doubt on the major Sauce Heads, and perhaps even be instrumental in seeing a couple or three permanently off their bikes, then you will have achieved a great success. It isn’t only barometric chambers and ketone therapy that’s lighting Pog’s fire; I think it’s the dreaded POT SLOVENE — a little bottle that says ‘Drink me!’ in Old Slovenian and transports the drinker into a supercharged cycling wonderland. Anyway, well done, your commentary is getting closer and closer to the bone. And if you come across the recipe for the POT SLOVENE, do let us all know!

    5. Pogi just released his training numbers… Not enough smoke and mirrors for me! I love Pogi but everybody is on PEDs these days. Endurance sports are full of them.

    6. They are probably clean today. Equipment technology has advanced so much that you don't have to dope the riders when you could dope the bikes. Safer for the riders health.

    7. Only fools believe Pogi. You can't beat for 100km a complete peloton. Pogi never gets tired, never sick, and is mostly a solo rider, yeah and you believe it?😂😂😂😂

    8. It is and has always been the same people in positions of power. How will it ever change. Doin the same thing and expecting different results or outcoms. Ofcourse not. There all doped up. A cyclist claimed that there's a manufacturer of new generation doping in China wich is undetecible by any test or machine. Sounds a little conspiricy theory like yet again it would make perfect sense.

    9. You're over-thinking this. We believe in Pog so we can assure ourselves that our £14k bikes are in fact making us 250w more aerodynamic. Don't take that away from us goddammit.

    10. I am always so in awe with the level of detail/research provided on this channel.
I guess if a pro rider has a mail man who is married to a columbian woman whose uncle was a pro cyclist in 1987 who had a sketchy doctor (presumably a dane), Uncle Cycling will find out and tell the world! 😉

    11. Until he gats caught he's clean. They're all doping. Read ,A rough ride. Please!! Give me a break. Just shut up and let the guys ride. So he's the best athlete amongst a sea of dopers. Imagine how good he must be if he's actually not doping

    13. Todays race performance is another "not natural" performance. Geesh……how the cycling world can watch this and not call it out for what it is …..well…it boggles the mind. I do not know what type of enhancement he is on……but they should at least back of a bit and not make it look so obvious. The UCI says and does nothing!!
