If you have ever lived in France you should know summer vacation is sacred here and if you want to blend in during September, you must have a story from your vacation .
You know as I had this obligation on my shoulder I was like Ok. I have one week to spend, I like cycling and I live in France…himm… What do I do?
Right… I said let’s find out what’s all these fuss about the tour de france and all this crazy climbs in the alps.
So i did some researched, packed my bike and got into the train.
My first Stop – Grenoble.
Grenoble is one of the biggest french city near the alps and it is very easily accessible by train.
After spending a night there and indulging into some savois dishes, I road down into a little town called Le bourg d’Osans. This will be my base for the next few days where I will be hitting some of the most iconic climbs in the world.
I didn’t really had the time to train myself for this trip so I decided to start easy by hitting one of the shortest climbs in the region
Col d’onone.
Appeared 8 times on the tour de france, still not a notable climb in the region.
