So I bought my first BMX bike since I was a kid this past summer so I can ride with my son who's just learning. So I've been cruising the Cul-De-Sac and hitting the pump tracks around me. And an occasional street course but just hitting some easy jumps or going up the ramps and circling down.

Today I wanted to try something after watching r/BMX fill my feed. So I just landed a little tail whip onto a grind on this rail. I was so pumped I kept looping around with a mini manual down the ramp in front of it and jumping a ramp up some stairs and back to the rail. I got about 5 two foot grinds in.

I know this is barley a trick compared to most of you guys on here giving it the full send. But as a fat guy in his 40s I'm stoked. And thanks to all you other old dudes getting back on a bike and posting up here. It's good inspiration. Maybe next year I'll get a real bike that's modern.

    1. Nice! That park is a blast

Btw I think the generally accepted name for that grind is a “Beringer grind” named after the legendary Matt Beringer (hit up the ol YouTube if you’re not familiar)
