I picked up this haro bike that someone was giving away in my neighborhood. I’m relatively familiar with bikes, but I have no idea how to pump this up. Could someone please help? by trainee_101 Bicycling Bike Bike Repair Biking Cycling Repair

Joker762 on October 11, 2024 3:44 pm Take that cap off. It’s a car valve aka Schraeder valve 👍 You local gas station has you covered 🫡
trainee_101 on October 11, 2024 3:47 pm Thanks, I guess it could be a Schrader valve. I’m just having a really hard time removing the cap.
xander-mcqueen1986 on October 11, 2024 3:52 pm That’s a slime tube cap and can be used to remove valve cores. I have them on mine minus the actual slime tubes. Awful products. It’s a Schrader valve.
trainee_101 on October 11, 2024 4:00 pm Thanks again, the value cap has a built-in core remover. I didn’t even know that was a thing and it threw me off.I learned something new today.
