I had posted an issue last week where my rear hub was making a rumbling sound and sometimes when i back pedal after it sitting idle for a while, my back wheel would turn backwards with the pedals. So the hub was ceasing, but would eventually loosen up but then I'd hear a rumbling when free spinning. I took it to the LBS and he said he replaced the bearings and repacked it with grease but the rumbling is still there.
I'm not very familiar with MTBs and just started riding recently. Do you know what to look for when searching for a hub? The specs for my bike on Norcos site says;
Rear Hub: Alloy 12x148mm, HG, 6 Bolt
My groupset is the M5100 Shimano Deore 11 speed
My LBS has the part in the images below in stock. I am trying to get more info regarding the model. I live in Costa Rica and parts are limited in my area, and communication with the LBS isn't the best either 😁.
Do you know if this part would be a good option?
