Hi all – this is a request for help. 99% through getting my old Brompton back on the road after being in bits in boxes for a year or two. And … I am one nut short. I need a tensioner nut (and washer) for the SRAM hub. Brompton / SJS no longer stock them. My LBS tried but can’t help. Can you?

Any normal narrow threaded nut fits on there. M8 I believe.

Where are you based? I’m in London, UK and have a couple spare to give away for free/doughnuts/beer/charity donation.
Do you also need the indicator chain?

The Sturmey Archer Rear axle = 13/32” – 26 (diameter 10.3 mm) with 26 threads to the inch with 15 mm hex nut (8 mm wide nut), which is particular to Sturmey Archer. An M10 is nominally 10 mm as compared to the 13/32” Sturmey axle, which is 10.3 mm — M10 nuts are not compatible with the Sturmey axle.
