I have a Salsa Cutthroat (the quintessential bikepacking bike; I just love it) and although I have the discontinued Salsa EXP Direct Mount full frame bag, I'm thinking of ordering a custom half-frame bag that I would keep on the bike for non-bikepacking riding (to allow water bottles beneath). I tried Salsa's new Cholla EXP half frame bags, but the fitment is not good for Cutthroat IMO. I have a 58 cm V2 Cutthroat and the recommended size (4) is so small and the space around it looks bad. The size 5 bag is close, but the bolt holes don't quite line up (although you could certainly make it work with one of the included straps–the front-most top bolt was the issue).
So now I'm thinking a custom half-frame bag. Has anyone had a custom DCF or Ultra (UHMWPE) fabric frame bag made with bolt holes for the Cutthroat or a similar bike? I see Rogue Panda and Rockgeist make custom bags and both have made nice-looking bags for the Cutthroat. Also came across this company. https://dispersed.bike/product/custom-ultra-frame-bag/

In case it helps anyone, here’s what the Cholla size 5 looks like on my 58 cm Cutthroat. It would work but the fit wasn’t quite good enough (esp re bolt holes) to be worth it to me, so I returned it.
