England and Scotland Border Campsite: We visit Green Acres Caravan Park near, Carlisle in Cumbria which is the 2024 winner of the Top 100 Sites regional award for the North West along with winning other prestigious awards and we could see why, it was fantastic!
While we were there we visited the lovely Houghton Garden Centre and also took a trip to Solway Camper Conversions, stopped off at the Metal Bridge then headed for Hoddom Castle in Scotland.
A great place to stop off on your way to or from Scotland or simply to spend a while exploring the area.

Hiya David Rachel and Roxy. Nice to see you back West like eh. That site was spot on totally worth the 34 Quid. And you had sunshine how lucky you were. Nice to see Rachel's dad again I take this trip is what you're dad told us about 2 months ago Rachel. The garden center is Sheila's go to for plants also Coffee and Cake. Must try a brekky next time.

Glad you guys had a good time at Green Acres, I stopped here on the way home last year and its a lovely site with great facilities. The breakfast at the garden centre looked yummy too. Nice idea with a Solway visit 😉. Cheers

Hi David, Rachel and Roxy. Totally agree with you about Greenacres , we stayed there earlier this year and found it amazing! Fantastic facilities and we enjoyed several games of petanque whist there. Lovely couple running it too.
We didn't visit the garden centre this time but it's definitely on the list for our next visit, thanks for showing it.
We only live a few miles from Carlisle and have heard good things about Greenacres so interesting to have a look round. The garden centre is lovely but i think im right in saying they dont allow dogs which is a pity. They do a great breakfast tho!😊
No Disabled toilet's or showers
Love your choice of music on this one. I’ve never seen a campsite with a Badminton court before. The showers looked amazing. Shame it’s not open all year round as I would have booked a night there to break up the journey on our trip to Edinburgh. Take care Gill

Great video again. Greenacres is the best site we have been on,spent a week there this August and last year. Very well kept and fantastic shower rooms. Now you have let everyone know about it ,it will be hard to book a pich🤣
There are lots to see around, only 8 miles from GretnaGreen.
Carlisle is a lovely place to visit .
The best meal out was at The Crown & Thistle at Rockcliffe, my husband is still talking about his dessert.

Nice drive thru even if a bit soggy! Nice looking site and you don’t have to leave it for some good grub! The sports hall is cool especially considering it’s adult only site you could have a right giggle in there when the beers are flowing! Looks clean too! It helps the sun has got his hat on and those lovely blue skies! That’s cool they clean your barbecue after you have used it! Aaww Roxy made some friends! Bought on Hall looks fabulous! Love a good garden centre (we don’t even have a garden 🤣) great drone work! Another super watch! Have a great week ahead 👍❤️
