Using my GoPro mounted onto the bike, in low light the vibration shows up considerably more, and very grainy….. I will look into the settings for future early morning rides
Even tho it looks a bit dark in the early part of the video it was in fact pretty dark, the 15 minutes before this video started the footage was just too grainy to use, but will be better on the next one.
Starting from the centre of Hereford I had a circular route, its a fun ride, with some small hills (345ft) the video is less than 10 minutes on a ride that was just over an hour,
The route takes me East out of Hereford toward Holme Lacy on the B4399, passing Holme Lacy College we ride on to the River Wye,
I go on a Sunday morning as the traffic is very light, these roads around the Hereford countryside get very busy during the day, Cars, Tractors and Lorries, so it makes sense to me to be out early. It also means that I am usually back by 8o’clock
Turning left and North onto the B4224 … onwards to Mordiford, and on to Wallflower Row, crossing the River Lugg. So far the traffic has been pretty good passing me
Heading West back towards Hampton Bishop, Hampton Park Road, and Hereford. (Sign)
Passing under the main railway line heading back into the centre of Hereford joining the A438. Crossing through the lights into Owen street and then to Castle Street. Passing the Castle street hotel we head towards Hereford cathedral school and the cathedral itself, passing straight on to King Street, and left on to St Martins Street, crossing the River Wye again, That’s the ride completed, distance 11.8 miles and elevation of 345 ft, will be doubling the ride doing two circuits weather permitting in the future.
