    1. Rusty as hell! Got some profile parts on it, some animal bits, I mean $5! It’s a bargain just for those bits.
Stolen cranks aren’t massively high end. The frame I can’t tell. Forks are verde so the frame could be also.

    2. Worth it for the stem and sprocket alone. Looks like it was a pretty nice bike before someone left it out in the rain for way too long.

Frame might clean up, if there aren’t any serial numbers on the bottom bracket check the dropouts, one of my frames has the serial number there

    3. Visceral-Decay on

Go buy yourself a bottle of cleaning vinegar, and some medium “hardness” (?) Wire brushes, spray/soak that rush with the cleaning vinegar, give it a good brushing then let sit for an hour then hit it with the brush again and some of that might salvage fairly well..or at least enough to hit with rust penetrator to remove

    4. Take it to a local shop and they be able to tell you what it is. It could be a chromoly frame and if it fits you ok clean it up and ride it. Like others said it has some nice parts and I can’t imagine someone putting nicer parts on a shitty frame.

    5. If you’re able and willing, please do share post-clean-up pics. Most importantly, congratulations!
