I took the 20-minute train ride from Avignon to Arles to walk to the sites of the most famous Van Gogh paintings. It was fun taking selfies in the spots of these photos and trying to feel the vibe from a hundred and fifty years ago. I used Wanderlog to optimize the route to the sites and for navigation during the walk.

This is video #6 of 10 of my May 2024 solo trip to two wine regions in France: Bordeaux and the Rhône Valley. After flying from USA to Paris, I took the TGV train to Bordeaux, where I explored La Cité du Vin Museum and visited the historic wine town of Saint-Émilion. I took a tour to the Médoc region and visited Arcachon, a coastal town in France. In Arles, I followed the Van Gogh Walk, then visited the famous Pont d’Avignon. Next, I enjoyed a wine tour in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, followed by an electric mountain biking adventure in Annecy. My trip concluded with a stop in Geneva before returning to the USA.
