Hi everyone, new to buying used but I’m just trying to find a good mulitspeed road bike with rim brakes under $1300. A local guy is selling these and wasn’t sure if $1300 was a bit much for a 6 year old bike with unknown mileage. Wanted to check with the community before reaching out to him with some q’s. Good deal or nope?

Definitely not a good deal, local market may vary but I’d say about 600 at the most
check ebay, Facebook MP, and Craigslist. I think the price is a bit high, and would probably bid $1,000. But, that depends upon fit, condition, and everything working as it should. If it needs anything replaced, the price goes down from there.
