    1. Hey everyone, this community has given me a lot over the years and I finally have something to give back.

Me and my partner are currently approaching the final stretch of our world tour. We’ve amassed a lot of photos over the last 8 months, and I thought now would be a good time to share some of our highlights.

Tajikistan was the country we were both most excited about, and after suffering the June heat in Uzbekistan we were desperate for some mountains.

We’ve been reading about the Pamir highway for the last 10 years and as a result had dangerously high expectations. Tajikistan did not disappoint one bit, and from the first day we were blown away by the kindness of Tajik people and the incredible landscape. The country really is a cyclists dream.

We entered the country from Samarkand in Uzbekistan and took the road through the Fann mountains to Dushanbe. From there we followed the north route along the M41 (Pamir) highway to Sary Tash and Osh in Kyrgyzstan.

Along the way we went to Khorog via Tavildara, the Haraborabat pass, and along the Afghan border. From there we continued along highway the whole way, via the bizarre towns of Alichur, Murghob and Qarokul.

I’ll be posting more pictures of Kyrgyzstan and the Indian Himalayas soon!
