Carbon/alu bikes have their place, but steel/ti are timeless

Steel.. rack ready and I don’t care if it gets scuffed on a rack next to other bikes. Plus, I’m 200lbs, I’m not out to race on something light and stuff.
I’d rather have carbon for a fat bike though, as it’s less like to be parked next to other bikes, mostly riding from the front door, and more likely to be used in the winter months.
Aluminum is ok but I’d rather steel. Don’t see the point in paying more titanium other than to rock the raw finish.
My Reynolds 853 Schwinn Paramount is racey steel. (Other bikes: Trek 830, Trek 520, All-City Cosmic Stallion). No aluminum or carbon at this time.

Steel has a fatigue limit under which it can withstand an infinite number of cycles without failing. It’s also the easiest to repair or modify.
