Sorry for not being able to get most of the compression part of the hop, it’s my first time recording myself lol. Any pointers on my technique that could use improvements?

    The part I’m struggling with the most is how I’m supposed to get the handlebar higher up without actually just pulling on it. Most people I see hopping have the handlebars basically touching their crotch/torso when the front wheel is at its highest but I’m not sure how I can get there unless I just pull on the handle bars

    1. you’re late with the legs, pull them up earlier, try to imagine that you’re trying to pull the rear tire between your buttcheeks to get some more air 🙂

    2. Your form is correct but needs some improvement, one sure fire way is to try hopping over something. I always tell newbies this when they ask how to improve bunny hops, hopping up on something, like curbs is also a good exercise to make you tuck your legs. Just keep at it and hop over something.

    3. Try compressing down more(like put your chest, almost against the bars).. and explode upwards with your legs and bring the bars with you. Jumping over things might help you get more air too.

      This is what worked for me.. either way.. you got this!! Keep going!

    4. Great advice here already. If you stood up taller your front wheel will lift higher. Your bars would come to your waist before you do the up and push forward with your arms. Also head up and look straight.

      Form is good, confidence and familiarity is lacking. Lots of reps will help a lot
