I don't know if the whole line is broken but how do I fix this? Is this something that can be fixed at home or do I need to take it to a shop?

    1. If you have some small circlip pliers, you could try fixing it yourself. I recommend taking the grip off and sliding the lever outwards to get some room first. What you need to do is get the ball end into the cylinder and then get the circlip into a groove to hold it in place. Unscrew it from the lever (2mm hex) and then push it in while trying to seat the clip.

Or just take it to a shop and ask them to seat the circlip. You don’t need to replace the lever as long as it didn’t get damaged.
