My 5 year old is getting into BMX racing. I saw this online. Is this a good BMX bike? I know nothing about bikes besides her current bike we use at home isn't one.
No. It’s meant to be a freestyle bike (doing tricks) and it’s a very poor one at that. Probably weighs 30 lbs too. It’s been a long time since I raced but I believe a 5-year-old would ride what is called a junior or expert sized frame. The bike looks too big for a 5 year old. Keep looking for a proper used race bike that will fit him. A lot of times you can go to your local track and they have bikes to try out to see if you like the sport, I would probably go that route than just buy a random bike online.

Hell no! It’s a kids bike that looks bmx’y at best.
Bmx race bikes are a whole other category really, at 5 she’ll likely need a micro or mini sized bmx race bike.
