Hi,
I was told here not to get a cheap full-suspension bike because it might be very crappy. But now Decathlon actually did a sale on their ST530S and they're even cheaper than the hardtails I wanted, with better gears and tires and front fork: https://www.decathlon.co.il/en/men-mtb-bikes/311716-55252-275quote-mountain-bike-st-530-blackslashred.html#/demodelcolor-8555876/demodelsize-1045xl_185_200cm
I even found someone on YouTube who purchased them and did a bunch of videos reviewing them, here's one of the videos where he replaces the rear shock absorber: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YpL1Y2Muw8
I read in 2 of the comments though that these bikes sometimes cracks at the rear triangle or that the shock absorber snaps in half.
As someone who never had full suspension bike, and didn't ride bikes in a long time – I wanted to know if the shock absorber breaks – does the bike falls apart? OR it just won't have a functional rear shock absorber but it will still keep going? Or, it's dangerous and if it breaks during riding I might crash?
Also, are they worth getting and upgrading the rear shock absorber maybe?
Thanks
