Hi all. Next Sunday a friend and I are going to cycle from Tirana to Athens. We need to be in Athens by the 18th of October because of a booked return flight, so we have 12 days of cycling. We are planning to cycle the routes in the screenshots (note there is some overlap).
The first route is inspired by the Trans Dinarica route that has been released recently. It crosses the border with North Macedonia at Lake Ohrid before it enters Greece and ends at Meteora. The second route is the Bike Odessey from bikepacking.com.
To conclude we are keen on receiving feedback on the route. Some of our doubts are:
    – how interesting are the main road within Albania? Not all routes look that interesting.
    – are our bikes suitable for the Bike Odessey? We have a gravelbike (40mm/3,5bar) and touring bike. After cycling along the coast of the Balkans i must conclude that the suggestions for ‘gravelroads’ by Komoot are often poor and it felt too much underbiking for me.

Keen on hearing your thoughts and thank you in advance.
