Ok, first of all, there is little information from SRAM etc. on the differences between different spindle lengths and chainring offsets between fat4 and fat5 cranksets. So here are some great resources:

    Now I have specific questions.

I have a 100mm BSA, 30mm diameter bottom bracket, the frame is designed for a Fat 5 (120 mm spindle: 100mm BB with 10mm spacers on each side, -4mm offset chainring). What about spindle diameter? Is it standard for modern frames to have a 30mm diameter BB shell? If so, are any BBs out there that fit the 30mm shell and allow for a 24 mm spindle dimeter? Also, if so, can someone point me towards such a BB?
