There is a lot of anti-cycling hatred where I live, and I have had unnecessary and unprovoked abuse, objects thrown at me from passing cars, and cars crossing over onto my side of the road to deliberately drive at me.
Car-drivers need to understand that they do not own the road, they are not more important than anyone else, and they certainly do not have any God-given priority over anyone, or the right to bully and abuse other road-users – including other car-drivers.

Cyclists should not be allowed on any main road when a designated cycle lane is available.

Drivers that slow down coming on from a slip road – instead of matching the speed of the traffic flow need to take another driving test before someone gets killed.

6:06 – Unless the VW was speeding, which it quite likely wasn't, I don't see the issue. He isn't psychic – for all he knows when he started the pass, you could have been taking the exit as well. Thus he would have been in front, and continuing to make progress, by passing even though it was relatively close to an exit.
