So I’ve been looking to update my saddle to something with more center relief (looking at the carbon Ryet saddles), and the ones I’m looking at have oval carbon 7×9 rails. My seat clamp is a side-clamping style, and my search of this sub has informed me that that is incompatible with 7×9 rails and that I need a vertical-clamping seat clamp. The part I’m now not sure about is what my options are. Is there a way to adjust or replace just my clamp? Or do I need to buy a whole new compatible seat post? My current seat, post, and clamp pictured for reference. I believe it’s just the stock seat post on my 2006 Madone. Thanks.
