Hello guys, I just received my SR Suntour Raidon fork for my old 26 inch wheel bike. When I was looking it over if it is okay I found out that one of the dust seals looks like it is not seated completely in at one of its sides. I tried to push it in but it didnt move. Is this a problem or can I ignore it ? Photo 1 is the properly seated seal and photo 2 is the problematic one.

    1. Bike shop will have the tools to push it in. Prob take them 20mins if it a coil. If it air then they prob charge for oil and labor.

    2. If you just got this back form a service, take it back in and get them to rectify the issue. If it is brand new send the photo to Suntour to get a warranty replacement. It may not be an issue but it could also rub and cause friction issues against the stanchion. It is worth getting it fixed if you can get it done for free, which you should be able to if it is new or recently serviced.
