    1. Aw man, this trip looks awesome! From Grand Marais to Deer Park you got about 12 miles of sand. If I rode this area again, I’d take the same route though. It’s really the only way without taking the death defying 28. I have some pictures and a video of it about halfway down this page:

      Between Deer Park and Tahquamenon, I’d assume continuing along lake Superior would be similar. In case you need/want to bail, heading south toward Pine Stump Junction on the paved road was a very pleasant ride to Tahquamenon. Very very few cars until you get to Four Mile Corner. Then from there to Tahq really depend on what time of day/day of the week you hit it. But visibility is good since it’s pretty open.

      There’s also some points of interest on that webpage above (I’m a sucker for chapel rock, so I’d go there over beaver lake) and where to stay/not stay to avoid RVs.
