We’re spending the summer in South France and it’s time to take in the dramatic coastline, escape to the rural side of France, and even venture into some gorgeous fishing villages as we bike along the coast of the French Riviera and explore hidden gem beaches that remain to be some of the most pristine French beaches I’ve ever seen. In this France travel vlog, we are biking France and exploring all that the beautiful coast has to offer as we have a base in La Ciotat.
The first beach in this video is Parc du Mugel and it’s a national park that is home to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen! (After being a full-time travel content creator/beach bum, this is a pretty huge superlative to receive!!!)

    8:28 Exploring La Ciotat

When in the South of France, I highly recommend renting bikes to explore the gorgeous surroundings and really get a feel for the land…and the exercise doesn’t hurt either after all the delicious croissants consumed!

La Ciotat is really such a gorgeous city (but more of an old French village vibe) with the alleyways, small shops, restaurants, and gorgeous harbor. I’d highly recommend stopping for a bite to eat or perhaps an aperitif at one of the many cafes that line the harbor. They started to get pretty busy around sunset and I don’t blame them because it was so beautiful.
During the mornings there are also markets
