I took my bike into the shop for a normal tune up and they noticed a large hole in the under side of the chain stay. I have had this bike for 3 months and frankly was unaware of the issue until the shop called me. I ride normal pavement roads and have not been in any type of crash or incident whatsoever. The shop is a Canyon service partner so initiated a warranty claim for me, sent in pics etc. what can I expect here? This feels like it should be under their warranty program but I’ve read others having issues with them obliging. This was purchased from the US Outlet section as “refurbished” for what it’s worth. The hole might have always existed, I’m not sure.

    1. Did your chain drop and you continued to pedal which caused it to jam between the frame? There’s paint missing on the top right which is an indicator of this might happening. Or it’s possible you purchased it this way.
