Coming from a Canyon Grail CF SL 7 (1st gen, also XS). I'm 170cm with a 79cm inseam.

Really happy with the Endurace. The 12-gear Di2 vs 11-gear mechanical (both 11-34 cassettes) is a major QoL improvement (not a gamechanger but definitely more than nice-to-have). Everything feels more responsive. Riding in the drops is better with Di2 (shifting by simply tapping is awesome) and ultimately, I do not like the hoverbar. The bike is also noticably faster (even though I ran a second aluminium wheelset with Conti GP 5000's tubeless on the Grail).

The QC/build quality is however laughable once again (as was with the Grail). They forgot the allen key and the cover for the seatpost (luckily, I still had those from the Grail). There was brake rub in the rear. The front derailleur needed adjustment as well (chain rub with the biggest chainring and the three our even four biggest sprockets). I really don't get how they can sell bikes like this. I would definitely not recommend Canyon, if you are not able to do the maintenance basics (or know someone who does and will help)

Sadly, since the old Grail came with 650B wheels (what a weird decision), I can't reuse my gravel wheelset. If and when I sell my Grail, I will get another aluminium wheelset (DT Swiss GR1600 I suppose) and put a Schwalbe G-One R in the front (40mm if possible, otherwise 35mm) and a G-One RS 35mm in the back.
