Been working on this 1991 18” Kona Cinder Cone build all summer, slowly gathering up the parts and money for it & when I finally get everything sorted, I’m hit with a 2 week megamanflu. Now all I can do is stare at the bike and post it on xbikes I guess.
Frame, the Joe Murray headset & the p2 fork (repainted due to damaged paintjob) is original, everything else is pretty much new or almost new. Deore 2×11 etc etc
Praying to the xbikes Holy Spirit that I get to take this on trip before the snows here…

I feel you on the lack of cycling ability – I have new wheels finally for my road bike with cushy 32mm tires, and a couple mountain bikes that I’ve caught up with odds and ends maintenance, and a couple upgrades to my townie beater MTB… all done with one arm/hand the past few weeks as I’m recovering from an elbow surgery, no biking for at least 6 weeks. Pffffft…. missing the end of the MTB season, missing my bikes, sick of walking and training everywhere,
