Hi guys. I had this part break and got a new one. However the end of the cable that goes into the junction box does not fit, so I guess I have to pull out the cable that goes into the frame. I can get some of it out but at a certain point it is just stuck, and I am afraid to either damage the cable or it being stuck somewhere in the frame where I will never get it out again. Anyone got any tips or ideas?
The bike is a Merida Scultura 6000.

You could modify the cable port and leave the cable in place.
