It CAN be booted. A properly booted tire is trustworthy. The tire looks like it’s nearly at the end of it’s life as is – other than the sidewall cut. If you choose to boot it – my method which has been proven very reliable is: Half of a park tire boot. Then going from the inside of the tire a piece of sturdy non stretchy fabric held in place with gorilla duct tape. This will still require tubes and won’t work with tubeless.

It’s toast. A boot is intended as a temporary fix. Just to get you back to home base and fix it properly.
This case will require replacement.

Nah just leave them on and when it blows out and you beef hard you can think as the ground rises to meet your face , I really love these gator skins, I should probably stop beating around the bush and just marry them and have some little training wheels running around and potentially use them for a wheelchair.
