Chain broke today. It was pretty gnarly, so I tossed it and got a new one. But uh…tf am i doing wrong with installing it? Is it just too long? I ordered the single speed size chain, for my single speed bike. What to do???

    1. The chain goes on the other side of the chain stay, unlink it and put it to the other side. You’re going to need to size the chain as well. If you have the old one you can just lay it next to the new one to match the length. You’ll need a chain breaker.

If you don’t have the old chain, watch the video on this page. Should clear a lot up for you.
