Cost to build and worth are two different things. Cost to build is probably close to $700 or more, worth dependent on market could be around $350 tops.

I built up an early model P1 to be a bombproof DJ-style bike. Probably spent about $1000 to get what I wanted (mostly fork & rims). I couldn’t sell it for more than $400 but it’s all about having it custom for what I want it to do.
