Hey yall i need some recommendations for good parts this is my beater/commuter bike
Im looking to do reasonably priced upgrades for the bottom bracket, crankset, and wheels fit for gator hardshell 32mm
The bb and the hubs on this thing are terrible so need some quality of life improvements
I may go overkill on a bb but I haven’t decided so whatever advice you got lmk

Forget about that stuff for now… U need a new saddle dawg
Get rid of your dad’s saddle, GET SRAM s300 cranks if you truly want a beater crank set, when the stock GXP BB wears (and it will) consider upgrading to Chris King, or just keep replacing with stock GXP ever year like I do.
That saddle appears to have been stung by a wasp.
What’s stopping you from getting a new complete bike?
Ird qr55 bottom bracket, andel track crank set, and a wheelset from velomine on formula hubs. Sun m13 is a good start.
Edit: honestly the wheelset is fine. I would get tpu tubes from Ali and grand Prix 4 seasons. Gatorskins ride like garden hoses.
