Im trying to lay the tubing for a New dropper post, but i have a hard time getting it out at the end. I tried all the vacuum tricks etc… now ive ordered the Park Tool with the magnet, but i would like to remove the "seal" for easier access. In the Videos ive watched this Thing seems to always be made of rubber, mine is made of metal. I dont want to just use force?! Or do i just have to pull it out?

If it’s metal I can only think that it’s inserted from inside when the bottom bracket is out. Doesn’t look to be any fixings from the outside and there’s no way to flex the part so it comes out.
Final thought, are the cable tensions holding it in place?
I assume you loosened or removed the other cables before trying to get that part out?
Wiggle it out after you disconnect the wires from derailleurs
