With Old Trafford showing its age, this isn’t just about replacing bricks and mortar – it’s about creating a year-round destination that could redefine what a football stadium can be. 1. This is one of our most ambitious videos yet and I hope you enjoyed it. Can we reach 10,000 likes? Ambitious but so is our vision for videos! A new 100,000 stadium? It's an exciting prospect.

    2. LMTB holder (stretford end) as a kid in 1979. The new stadium? …. keep it & put it where the sun don't shine. No atmosphere, no passion & simply full of tourists. Orwell himself would recognise this dystopian concept. Go build your own prisons but I'll never go inside. I'll be watching 22 men (yeah men … one of the only two genders) kicking a bag of wind around on a Sunday morning whilst recovering from hangovers. At least it's honesst.

    3. a waste of money. fix up England first, get the basics right first, like health and roads. get the players to pay for the stadium. they earn more in one week than what a poor punter makes in a year.

    4. this stadium is already old……. they need to be looking at the sphere in las vegas and more importantly what is better then that
think sphere but 100,000 plus seats, with safe standing aswell …… take everything ….. i mean everything from all comers and make it bigger and better .
      top spec in all things

    5. Does the Premier League or FA have rules regarding Personal Seat Licenses? Are there limits to how much the club can charge? And how will that impact ticket prices?

    6. Well done for a well thought-out and executed bit of work man. Very informative, and you can tell the hours that have gone into it!

      👏

      On-topic, yes it does.

The whole club needs moving into the 21st century.

Ronaldo said 'Nothing has changed here' as he came from Juventus (One of the most state of the art clubs for maintaining their players well into their late 30's) so he probably saw a massive clash when he came back. The training ground is a bigger priority imo but you can do and build both things alongside keeping OT so I'm all for it.

At least give the managers a good base and state of the art facilities to work with instead of hoarding money for profit. You get back what you put in, and now that INEOS is here, Sir Jim is clearly a smart man and a FAN. I'm loving what they're doing with the club, and when everything is in place for success – only THEN should they go out and get the best manager available and give HIM all the tools and resources and time to use all this as at that point, whoever that person is, will have NO MORE EXCUSES.

All the post-Fergie managers have complained about how stuck in the past everything is. These things give a real added edge to the team, fitness, nutrition, scouting – Our club is legitimately probably not in even even the top 20 any more overall if you consider all these things towards how well the club is ready to build for success any more.

It's still basically almost EXACTLY the same club that Sir Alex left, and in that time things have changed a LOT. We need to move with the times so long story short I think it's brilliant, as is the new Training Ground build.

    7. Morning Sam, I’ve watched/subscribed to your channel from day one. United are my obsession, and I watched my first game from the Stretford end in 1963, so as you can imagine, I’ve more or less seen it all. But you have lifted my viewing pleasure to another level. I’ve always enjoyed your delivery, and down to earth, unpretentious commentary, but , just lately, your posts, and, in particular, posts like the one here, are truly off the scale in professionalism and content. I’m sure I’m not alone in thanking you for what you do, and hope you continue for years to come. I can no longer get to games unfortunately, but your channel is the next best thing. Kind regards and thanks. Bri.

    8. How is Man U more famous than Real Madrid? Arguably Liverpool and Barcelona are as famous, and we can probably Bayern, A.C. and one or two others to that list. Very nice video otherwise.

    9. The real kicker, actually the only real question is : to renovate or go brand new. Renovation will cost and last exponatially more than brand new. But at the end of it you get to keep the history of the club and the meaning of "this is united" takes on another dimension. Both projects will have an enormius impact on logistics. Come match day, construction stops, and since they are playing something lile 70 matches a year.. well that means renovation will take a bloody long time. The construction specialist in me screams: brand new. The fan in me pleads to keep the grounds, I'd be heart broken if we have to leave. I think in the end the overall idea of the next hundred years of man u will prevail, and the club will go for a new stadium. Or we find a pitch close enough to play on while we renovate the grounds…

    10. MU are not the most famous football club in the world, Real Madrid and Barcelona are ahead in this regard. People deep in villages in third world countries are rooting for RM amd Barca amd fight fans there fight over a a classic game.
