Another lovely video. When I used to ride eight and a half miles each way to work people always commented I must be either very fit or mad (delete as appropriate). If I went on a long distance cycling holiday I must be either very fit or mad AND what charity are you raising money for. Generally – is it because you want to keep fit, you want to save money, you want to save the planet. Whilst all of these are very pleasant side effects, the REAL reason I ride is because I bloody enjoy it. Totally agree with you about not needing expensive clothing to enjoy riding your bike, bibs excepted of course!. Iβm out on the bike most days doing 20 miles or so, and at 77 I appreciate how fortunate I am, able to ride my first century last year. The Yorkshire Wolds have lots of lovely quiet roads/ routes which I can recommend, the Wolds Way is a circular 147 mile route and makes for a fantastic two day ride.
