    2. That was an impressive video! Yet I think, the driver was just a bit too fast. Quite risky at some of the intersections. Every time I am stuck with a driver like him, I tend to shit my pants 😅

    3. It's acutally an old video, at least 6 months old, as there is still 80 kph max. on the "Zoobrücke" bridge and up to the tunnel in Köln Kalk. They changed it to 50 in October '23, because cyclists aren't save enough with that 40cm steel plank barrier between the lanes for cars and the one for cyclists. Nontheless, drivers in their cars are giving way exeptionally well, in this whole video. There isn't that much of traffic, but still nice to see.

    4. The beginning was at the university hospital of Cologne, so most people around there know about ambulances. Glad that it wasn't during rush hour. Usually there is heavy traffic. Cool to see my workplace on YT.

    5. I live near Cologne and that city is my absolute driving nightmare, I avoid going there at almost all cost. I am very surprised to see how well this ride worked for the ambulance, traffic in Cologne usually can be quite different. The Zoobücke, the zoo bridge the ambulance took across river Rhine is infamous as speed trap alley, there used to be several speed traps in sequence. Four or six or so. It was quite interesting to see what it looks like at some speed for a change! 🙃
And may I say I am ever so slightly proud of how almost really very well the traffic gave way for the emergency vehicle there? 🤗 Well, done, dear Colognians! At least for once, you managed to behave when driving cars! 😁
