Hi, I am considering a used 2019 BMC Teammachine SLR01. I just love that team red color since six years ago, and now the price seems acceptable.
I’m 172cm and inseam is 82cm, should I go for 51 or 54?
Personally I prefer 54, because the bigger frame would look better, and actually I have a used slr02 in 51 from six years ago which is causing arm numb now. I got it in a bike shop, and it should fit my height, but since my inseam is a bit longer, we have to set a higher seat position. Its fork was also cut by the former owner, and I have to bend very hard to reach the bar. So I wonder if this problem can be fixed by switching to 54.
One last reason is the 54 I found is 400usd cheaper than the 51.
