I am riding both road and mtb and I use a SPD pedal based power meter to train based on power output so I kinda want to stick to using the same type of cleats on both bikes so I can interchange the pedals between bikes.
To replace my current shoes, I am looking for a sleek shoe which does not scream mtb and is easy to match with other items.
Recently I came across these and want to seek your very very objective opinions on how would it look on a road bike? Look at the bike and the shoes I'm talking about:

I think it will look good, just a word of advice, I have the road version and it’s way to narrow for a human foot, grab the wide version if it’s available where you live

I personally prefer the RX shoe to handle the job of both road and off road. I’ve always been able to find a better deal on the RX8 than the XC7 shoe. The RX 8 gives you the full carbon sole and increases stiffness.
I have the same shoes for the same reason with the pedals. Works great.
