Why not mount a rear brake too?
I mean you have both brake levers, I personally would put brakes on both on my communter

I like just putting my feet onto the frame on a downhill though

I will never understand the people that post here with only one foot strap. Why ride a bike that you’re supposed to be strapped to, if you’re not comfortable being strapped to it? So odd to me.
Also, no bar tape but I hope you have bar end plugs at least. Otherwise, beware having your thighs cored out in case of a fall.
