Welcome to my channel! After graduating from Lund University, I’ve decided to capture the essence of this beautiful city by taking you on a virtual tour.
In this video, we’ll explore the scenic biking route from Lund Central to Östra Torn, which served as my home from August 2022 to May 2023. Then, I completed the video by the Lund University Library. So, you’ll have a chance to see the whole route.
✨ Östra Torn is a charming and peaceful area just 4.3 km away from the city center.
✨ Unfortunately, it’s often overlooked by students due to its slightly greater distance from the city center, which is truly a missed opportunity!
✨ Public transportation options are convenient from this dorm. You can either:
🚶🚶♀️Walk for 13 minutes to catch bus number 7️⃣
🚶🚶♀️Walk for 7 minutes to catch tram number 1️⃣ (there’s only one tram line) or take bus number 1️⃣6️⃣6️⃣ from the same tram stop.
✨ The area is rapidly developing with new buildings, and several cafes and restaurants have recently opened up.
✨ Östra Torn is conveniently located near supermarkets:
🚶🚶♀️Hemköp Brunsshög is just an 11-minute walk away.
🚶🚶♀️Ica Nara Tornet is a 13-minute walk away.
🚶🚶♀️Coop Flöjtvagen is a 16-minute walk away.
✨ If you’re into fitness, 7/24 Fitness is only a 7-minute walk from the dorm.
