I got new plates after a recall. went up from 50-34 to 52-36 had to move the mech up a bit.
It shifts but it something feels off. I have to keep pressure on the lever until the chain grabs to big ring. Any advice is appreciated.
Well the derailer position doesn’t seem off on your pictures, but by moving it up you definitely put more tension in the cable ! Get it properly setup by your LBS

Shimano like to be pushed past the detention then settle back. What your describing sounds like you have no extra to push past and are just barely making the spot. Possibly back off the limits a bit and reset
