Bart Alta, a 21-year-old Dutch cyclist traveling through various countries, took a break in Demirci district of Manisa. Arriving in Turkey via Edirne, Alta rested at a café at the district entrance, where he enjoyed Turkish coffee, tea, and pide. Alta, who stated that his goal is to travel the world, shared that he has pedaled a total of 3,845 kilometers so far. The university student, who left the Netherlands on May 15, mentioned that he has traveled through Germany, Czechia, Austria, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Greece during his tour. Expressing that Turkey is a very beautiful country, Alta said he plans to travel from Mersin to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and will end his tour there before returning to his country by air. After exploring the district, Alta continued towards Uşak.
