Always wanted a Dyno or GT performer when I was a kid. Best I got was a kicked down 80s mongoose looptail. So with my kid starting to ride bikes I needed to get something to show him how it's done. So I jumped on marketplace and grabbed the first GT performer that wasn't thrashed or listed for insane money. And now I'm the guy with an IRA at the pump ramp.

Couple of questions. How did I do for $250? And can anyone place a year for this? I'm thinking early 00s.

You overpaid…. Early 2000s midschool bmx with high tensile steel rear section. Bikes probably 2004 year from what I can find. I wouldn’t ride it as an adult and trust it to hold up for long. The rear section will start to bend from 180s. Basically a beginner bike for kids. Sorry to be negative. Ride it and maybe take some of that ira and invest in a Fully chromoly framed modern bmx.
